Emergency Mobile Kitchen at Keele University

PKL provided an emergency kitchen configured from 15 PKL mobile kitchens allowing Keele University to continue catering after a fire.

The mobile kitchens had to be positioned along a severe drop between listed trees, and were joined by walkways enabling access into the existing dining room.

The emergency kitchen facility was successfully installed within a week and remained in place for a further 16 weeks. The facility consisted of production and preparation mobile kitchens as well as two servery units, three coldrooms, a dry store and offices.
